Our Process

Silky Spun Sugar

The Silky Spun Sugar are made from fresh by our family over in Ayutthaya. Once the Sugar is ready this will be packed and sent to Bangkok before leaving Thailand heading for England!

The Roti (Pancake)

Our Roti (Pancake) are made freshly in-house here in Hertfordshire using Plain Flour containing 100% British Wheat. We then add Sesame into the flour alongside different flavours from Pandan Leaves, Vanilla, Thai Tea, Beatroot or Pumpkin! Once the Roti has been made within 6 Hours from making this is then packed ready to be sent to customers across United Kingdom.

All our products are packed and shipped with care. Our main courier are Royal Mail & Evri using Next Day Delivery!

  • Who are we?

    The Ayutthaya Candy was founded my Matt and his mother Maratree. Maratree goes by the name (Nong). Nong grew up in Ayutthaya. Seeing her family build and run the Roti business she venture in opening her first store in central Bangkok located in Charoen Krung, Bang Kho Laem District, Bangkok, Thailand. In 2012 Nong relocated to the UK. In 2023 she decided to launch the Roti business online selling directly to customer across United Kingdom.

  • Where are we based?

    The Ayutthaya Candy is based in Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire making Roti all in-house. In 2024 we are expanding to Thai Events across United Kingdom and looking to open our first Unit in Hertfordshire by the start of 2026.

  • How fast is the shipping?

    We currently accept orders online. All orders will be made freshly on Sunday. All orders are packed and shipped out Monday morning ready for delivery the Tuesday by either Royal Mail or Evri. We understand that couriers do have delays. We will monitor the delay ensuring all our customers receive their orders on time. Please note some orders do take longer to deliver subject to postal area across United Kingdom.
